The product is already live and used by more than 1,000 active companies in over 30 countries, with users having created more than 75,000 invoices, and it supports multiple currencies and global tax systems such as VAT and GST.

Challange
Accounting software is often perceived as complicated and intimidating, especially for small business owners who lack an accounting background. The main challenge is how to provide comprehensive financial tools ranging from invoices, sales orders, expenses, and purchases to accounting and reports without overwhelming users with the complexity of the data.
Since a single dashboard must accommodate multiple modules at once (Sales, Purchases, Expenses, Accounting, Reports), there’s a risk that the information becomes too dense and difficult to scan quickly, even though business owners typically want to understand their financial status at a glance. Another challenge is designing a powerful yet user-friendly system for filtering and searching transaction data (invoices, contacts, dates, status) for non-technical users, given that the volume of transactions can become very high as the business grows.
Solution
The solution is to design a main dashboard with a clear information hierarchy: a summary of key figures (Sales, Expenses, Cash on Hand, Net Profit) is placed at the top as a quick snapshot, accompanied by percentage-change indicators so users can immediately recognize trends without needing to analyze the data manually. Below that, more complex data is visualized through a Sales Revenue bar chart and an Expenses Revenue heatmap, transforming raw numbers into patterns that are easy to read at a glance.
The Recent Activity Feed is placed at the bottom as supporting detail, keeping the dashboard feeling concise on the surface while still offering data depth when needed. To address data search needs, the filter panel is designed as an overlay drawer that appears on top of the list without taking users off the page, with clearly grouped filters (keyword, date range, customer, status) so users can filter through hundreds of invoices in just a few clicks.
The sidebar navigation is organized with a nested structure (for example, “Sales” has submenus for “Invoices,” “Estimates,” “Sales Orders,” “Credit Notes,” and “Received Payments”), allowing users to move between accounting modules without losing track of where they are.
